As You Like It

This is my excuse for falling behind in blogging. I’ve been directing Shakespeare’s As You Like It, with an amazingly talented and dedicated cast… and since it opened, I’ve been a besotted fan, attending as many performances as I can. This is my first directing gig in 10 years, and the first one ever I’ve undertaking just for the love of working with the material, and not because I was “doing a gig to develop my directing career.”
Moby Rich has continued apace (we’re on Chapter 12 now), but it seems increasingly silly to synopsize it, especially as the drama and black comedy develops. Truth be told, I can’t quite into the “blog zone” – just too old-fashioned, I guess. I’ll keep working on it, though. Meanwhile, happy August to all.
